Hilit Kolet is the London-based DJ and producer behind the bleeding edge of 2025’s fiercest beats, delivering an intense percussive blend of house and techno with razor-sharp technique on every release and throughout her high-octane DJ sets. As a teenager obsessed with dance music Hilit moved to London in search of a career in electronic music; finding a spiritual home in legendary Soho record shop Black Market Records, she soaked up the city’s unique club culture and developed her encyclopaedic knowledge of the scene. Hilit’s debut as an artist came with the jackin’ 'Techno Disco' on Defected - landing at #1 on Music Week's Upfront Club Chart and #3 on Shazam's Discovery chart. Her latest productions ’POV Siren’ (Faith), ‘Hot Mess’ and ‘Snap Talk’ (Rekids), ’Everything is Amazing’ (Bush) and ‘Snap Talk’ (Rekids) have all been heavily played and supported on Radio 1’s specialist dance shows, leading to a Peak Time Mix on Sarah Story’s show earlier this year and a recent Mixmag Lab filmed at IMS in Ibiza, while Hilit has also been chosen to front Pioneer/ AlphaTheta’s demo videos of the new ‘Euphonia’ rotary mixer. Support for Hilit’s original tracks as well as innovative re-edits has come in strong from some of the world’s greatest DJs, with Carl Cox, Skream, Radio Slave, Paul Woolford, Jamie Jones, Eliza Rose, Maya Jane Coles, Patrick Topping, Haai and Chloe Caillet all fans of her production work. Her finely-crafted update of Laurent Garnier’s underground classic ‘Crispy Bacon’ is loved by Laurent himself, who released it as a bonus track on his most recent album. 2024 also saw Hilit remix Joe Goddard (‘Destiny’) and Basement Jaxx, who loved her ‘Fly Life’ edit and decided to release it officially. A forward-thinking and fearless DJ, Hilit Kolet evokes chaos no matter the party in question, radiating powerful energy from the DJ booth of esteemed clubs including Printworks, fabric, KOKO, Warehouse Project, among others. Already in demand on the international festival and club circuit, recent major-league shows that Hilit has played include sets for Elrow in Croatia, Jaeger in Oslo, Amnesia and Pikes in Ibiza, and shows in Shanghai, Berlin, Warsaw, Bulgaria, Albania and more.
