ELM STREET at TEGEL AIRPORT
Meet your organizer
About this event
Join us on June 6 at the old Tegel Airport (@frachtkante) for our first political event, accompanied by DJ sets on two floors.
With our impact on local club culture, we feel responsible to use our platform not just for parties but larger purposes.
Implementing political standpoints within the clubbing context can be challenging. Often the political contributions come short because they are being squeezed in between DJ sets and thus feel subordinate to the usual program.
Also the payment difference between political actors and DJs usually is extremely off and irrational. That’s why we’ve made the following two changes with this upcoming event:
The „Political Hub“ as a designated space at the venue for the various political contributors. Allowing for program throughout the entire day.
Across all political actors, organizations and DJs that we booked, the fee is equal. To emphasize the importance of the political work, a part of the ticket profits will be shared between those actors and organizations additionally to their fee.
Let’s reshape our current club culture and prioritize values that matter!

karete bu
Character unlocked: karete bu—a vinyl sorceress with a knack for House groovers, UK energy, and a solid dose of old-school attitude. Once a resident at the iconic Institut fuer Zukunft, she’s now leveled up to focus on her true endgame: Nachti—the beloved festival she's helping shape from the inside out. Whether spinning records or orchestrating festival and event magic behind the scenes, she thrives on controlled chaos and tunes that hit the spot. No button-mashing here—her vinyl sets blend hands-in-the-air moments with tracks that trip you up,twist your brain, and then pull you right back in. Expect unexpected time travel to warehouse raves, rhythms that keep both feet and minds on their toes, and an uncontrollable urge to raid your parents' record collection. Achievement unlocked: Keep it genuine—one bassline at a time.

Souci
The Serbian-born, Berlin-based DJ, producer, and cultural organizer moves effortlessly through electronic landscapes, balancing grit and groove, past and future, with an unmistakable personal touch. Her DJ sets, known for their fluidity and fearless approach, have resonated in clubs across Europe and beyond. In 2023, a Musicboard Berlin residency took her to Detroit, further deepening her connection to the genre’s lineage while opening new creative doors. Through her work with Merak, Souci amplifies voices from the Balkan community and creates spaces for dialogue, while also supporting local and international causes. From the booth, Souci keeps dancefloors on their toes, shifting from light-hearted moments to razor-sharp intensity. Hard as nails yet light as a feather—always coherent, always engaging.
