Micha Stahl

In 1993 Micha Stahl came the first time in contact with the Tresor Club and was really fascinated by the energy of the music and the scene. After spinning his first records in 1997 he picked up a residency at Subtunes (Subground/Berlin) two years later, where he was playing the 'warm up' and the 'outro' for Andre Galluzzi monthly. In 2000 Micha Stahl became a Resident/'Headquarter DJ' at Tresor Club (Berlin), which made the club to his home and springboard at the same time. This was shortly followed by a second new residency at the legendary Electric Ballroom (SO36), which was an absolute game changer. He started playing gigs all over Berlins Techno Clubs (Ostgut, Pfefferbank, Maria, Casino etc.) as well as all over Germany, Europe and more; in countries like Italy, Israel, Spain, France, Russia, UK, Poland, Switzerland, Holland, Austria... Furthermore. he was co-organizer of a successful party series called Underground-Berlin in the early 2000s. Each event took place at a different old, raw and secret location under the surface of the city like in the old vaults under the Alexanderplatz in the heart of East Berlin or at the basement of an abandoned brewery - wild times! In 2006, after countless gigs played at Tresor, he left the club as a friend to try new things. In addition to his gigs Micha Stahl started to produce his own tracks, set up his own studio and finished an education as an audio engineer. Together with his good mate S.Sic he ran since 2013 the Label Filou-Music for a few years. Finally in summer 2019 the time for new things had come and so they launched their new Label Modus-Minor - mainly focused on solid Techno. Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/michastahl

Frankie Flowerz started Djing in 1984 in Penang, Malaysia where he was born. In 1990 he received an offer to work for a DJ Agency in Switzerland. He stayed on there and played many different Venues from winter resorts such as Lenzerheide, Arosa, Davos, Wengen, Leysin, Laax etc and also many more cities. Frankie got into singing and writing music when he first built his home studio in 1994, in Switzerland . His first stage appearance as a singer was when he joined a jazzfunk band in Chur , later he did some backing keys with them. After an 8 year stay he decided to move to Berlin to pursue his studies in Audio Engineering , which he did in 1998 and soon he released his first ever 12” on Blaou Records. Then offers came from various Labels such as Funkhausmusic, Crosstown Rebels, Hypercolour , Om USA etc. He launched Voodoo Electric in 2018 , a digital Label dedicated to Electric Monday and its Artists. Frankie has since released 1 LP in 2014, ”Boyz & Girlz” under his label Funkhausmusic which he began to run since 2007 .Nov 2019 will see him back again with another LP “Tales form the Living Room” with his 4 piece Band. Stay tuned for Frankie Flowerz & the Band. Being on the Dj circuit for a good 35 years since the middle 80ties, his musical influences vary from 50ties R&B, blues, soul, funk , jazz ,rock and of course electronica, thus his record collection is of such. As a club Dj he spins mostly deephouse laced with some techno while keeping it soulful and funky, dropping original Prince (his huge musical idol) tracks, funk jams and disco which fit in on the fly, giving his listeners a taste of nostalgia & different rhythms , exploring boundaries, keeping it open , somewhat of an oldschool/newschool vibe. ..that’s pretty much his signature. . You can hear him Djing every Monday night during his weekly Electric Monday parties in Berlin @the KitKat Club. In 2007 Frankie began teaching the art of vinyl Djing @the Noisy Academy in Berlin and was the first to incorporate this with Electronic Music Production courses there. After 10 years , he left to concentrate more on his own Production & Dj School in his studio. Since 2011 , Frankie and Ricardo Rodriguez have been running their weekly Monday night party , Electric Monday, at various venues in Berlin. Originally based in the Roter Salon, Frankie & Ricardo started to play every Monday since 2009 , rotating with each other, sticking to their respective styles and soon enough, they generated a crowd which began to party on a Monday. As things progressed , they moved to Tresor in 2011 establishing the Mondays there, transforming a dead closed evening into an extension of the weekend. Come November 2014 and Electric Monday moved to KitKat, the club of their choice, where the nights there are nothing less but memorable and unique, not to mention diversely unlimited. Electric Monday has since expanded by incorporating local and international Guest Djs and also International Venues, a label for their Artists and merchandising such as T-Shirts. The journey continues.
