Electric Lights is a unique audiovisual series curated by photographer and DJ Katja Ruge, bringing together electronic music, photography and immersive fulldome visuals. Hosted at Berlin's Zeiss-Großplanetarium, the format celebrates the creativity and diversity of women in electronic music through live performances, cosmic imagery and a carefully curated musical journey spanning techno, electro, ambient, new wave, italo disco and beyond.
Opening the evening, Katja Ruge presents a cinematic DJ set inspired by her long standing connection to electronic music, photography and club culture. Moving between cosmic techno, electro, ambient textures, new wave and dark disco, her sets are designed specifically for the immersive atmosphere of the planetarium dome.
For this special Berlin edition, Electric Lights welcomes Lady Starlight. Renowned for her powerful hardware based live sets, she has established herself as one of techno's most distinctive artists, with releases on labels including Ostgut Ton, Tresor, Figure and Stroboscopic Artefacts. Combining raw energy, technical precision and a fearless artistic vision, Lady Starlight brings her unique sound to an unforgettable immersive setting.
