Alexia (2)

Alexia has been making waves over the last year with her deep and classy selections. Behind the decks, she translates her pure and genuine personality in the most natural way, which never fails to fill the dancefloor with a warm feeling. A long time friend and beloved member of our community, her addition to the family was long overdue.

Alicia (UK)

Alicia is a DJ, producer and co-founder of London-based club night Terra Obscura. Her unique combination of disparate styles is in no doubt owed to her background as a trained classical musician, as well as several years spent working behind the counter of the renowned Phonica Records. Her explorative and considered approach has seen her become a fixture on the London club scene, having played at the likes of Fabric, Phonox and Corsica Studios. Radio-wise, she has recently become a monthly resident on Rinse FM, as well as a regular on Kindred, a station that is fast becoming a creative hub for the city's underground scene. Beyond DJing, Alicia co-curates Terra Obscura, an experimental club night that looks to bridge the gap between ambient and dance music. Each event begins as a multi-sensory sound bath, allowing the crowd to become comfortable within the space, before the night gradually adjusts its aim toward the dancefloor. As a producer, Alicia’s music has seen release on the likes of Fever AM, the Berlin-based imprint run by Mor Elian and Rhyw. Her tracks build on the same detailed-driven, eclectic style as her sets, where as equal attention is placed on the mind as on the body.

Lucie runs Introspective Electronics, a platform navigating the in-betweens of ambient and dance music and featuring regular radio shows and podcast series. In collaboration with Amoenus, she co-organises SONIC GARDEN, a series of experimental ambient and downtempo events. Together with the London-based DJ and producer Alicia, Lucie co-curates Terra Obscura, a bi-monthly event series inspired by the new generation of ambient-tinged UK bass.

harrison guyett

On and off the decks, Harrison exudes a charm that spreads contagiously and shines through his records, capturing the essence of London clubland as it was during the early days of acid house. His sound is a heartfelt tribute to this era, drawing deeply and sympathetically from his experiences in the dance scene, blending soul, Latin, rockabilly, dub, punk, jazz dance, and other forms of proto-dance music. Harrison seamlessly weaves these influences into his sets, playing anything with style, substance, and spirit, ensuring his performances remain fresh and dynamic. On the party circuit, too, he’s made a lasting mark. Setting up shop South of the river, he co-founded ‘Deestra’ alongside Apiento and Nancy Noise, gaining a reputation for curating unforgettable nights. He is also a former resident of ‘Heart of Soul’ in Lewisham, an event that earned a feature in Dazed magazine, and plays regularly at the downtempo party ‘Sunday Downtime,’ known for its eclectic and chilled-out vibes. Harrison’s influence extends beyond London, as he has recently joined the booking team for Into The Burrow Festival, a grassroots event celebrated for its intimate atmosphere and eclectic music programming. More recently, Harrison launched ‘Eden Echos,’ stepping into more ambitious programming by booking talents like Kay Suzuki, Millie McKee, and Belle Bête of Beauty & The Beat. This venture, along with his role at Into The Burrow Festival, showcases his dedication to pushing boundaries and creating unforgettable musical experiences. With his visionary approach and deep-rooted passion, the horizon promises many more exciting ventures for Harrison—there’s no doubt his influence on the scene will only continue to grow.

Lora Mipsum

Effortlessly traversing the realms of nineties and noughties inspired progressive house and trance, blended with tripped out techy selects, Lora Mipsum has been elevating dance floors across the UK, Europe, Australia and beyond, cementing herself in the psychedelic stratosphere of the dance music world. Textural and transcendent, Lora Mipsum’s all vinyl sets have led to a recent tour down under, upcoming club and festival appearances at the likes of Dimensions, Pickle Factory and Dusty Flyers’ Club and a livestream from the steamy depths of HÖR. Joining forces with ANNX, beyond the booth she also co-runs WHOMP, the dance-cenric not-for-profit party that’s fast gaining a loyal following within the underground. Combine all of this with rumours of a label in the works and a string of hotly-tipped guests locked in on her monthly AAJA radio show and it’s clear to see the London-based DJ’s trajectory is strictly skyward.

Penelope (2)

Having already released on Mari.te’s Tresydos imprint and Basic Moves' sub label For Playful Manners, French-born artist Penelope has slowly grown her presence in the underground music panorama over the past years. Always with a thirst for new horizons to fuel her creativity, she moved to Berlin for some years where she spent time refining her taste around heavy undulating basslines, arping synths and body rocking drums. Penelope’s sound is a unique expression of her broad sonic tastes that range from house to techno and all electronic experimentation in between. Her cosmic, often dreamy, sometimes pitch black musical direction is fantastically tempered with outrageously diverse moods and basslines to die for. When behind the decks, she can often be seen with a glint in her eye and playful smirk on her face as she knows the reaction her bombs will have when they drop. Based in Lisbon since 2018, she also has built a solid foundation in her new adopted city. Founder of the oDYSea parties and platform, she is a familiar face of the Portuguese scene as well as in European clubs and festivals.
