human_made returns to VOID with another night dedicated to the darker and more technical corners of contemporary Drum & Bass.

Over the past years, the human_made project has often gravitated towards the stranger edges of the genre: hybrid forms, way too broken structures for the oldschool lovers, and sounds that didn't always fit comfortably within established expectations. While that curiosity remains at the core of what we do, this edition marks a slight shift in focus, returning towards some of the foundations that brought many of us to Drum & Bass in the first place.

Not as a step backwards, but as an opportunity to revisit the genre's roots through a new generation of artists.

For this edition, we bring together a selection of names from across Europe and the US that rarely appear on Berlin lineups. Artists whose sound sits somewhere between contemporary neurofunk, deep and stripped-back rollers, techno-influenced Drum & Bass, and classic rhythmic frameworks that continue to define the genre.

Across the night, expect a range of styles from spacious atmospheres and detailed percussion work to distorted textures, heavyweight bass pressure, and moments that lean unapologetically towards the harder end of the spectrum. Technical, dark, and forward-looking, but with one foot firmly planted in the roots.
