Tsepo and Estrella take over Doka Studio for a night of house and minimal. Expect a very steady session from two DJs who know their way around a booth.
Tsepo comes to Doka with a sound shaped by his early influences and a move away from standard club sets. His recent work focuses on the mood of the room, using a patient, track-by-track approach to build a set that feels intentional. He’s joined by Estrella, a vinyl-only DJ originally from Hilversum. Drawing on her background as a violinist, she brings a sharp sense of rhythm to her sets, sticking to the stripped-back, analog side of minimal house. It’s a straightforward night of underground music in an intimate space.

Tsepo's recent years allowed him to reflect and rekindle his passion for music. He's now dedicated to creating music without constraints or expectations. Inspired by his early musical influences and exploration beyond the club scene, he's gained a deeper understanding of mood and emotion in music. His sets are consistently refined and immersive, marked by meticulous selection, patience, and a deep sense of narrative. From his time at Amsterdam's Trouw and Shelter to residency at the now-closed De School, a formative chapter in both his career and the city's club culture, Tsepo likes his DJ sets to evolve over more than five hours, taking dancers on a transformative journey. His Realising Stuff radio shows are diverse and coherent, telling compelling stories. Tsepo's agency bio humorously mentions "Realising Stuff." Still, with his renewed focus and love for his craft, he's happier than ever with his work.
