Beginning his journey as a young lad, he stepped up to play in clubs alongside headliner DJS, from the age of 15. Citing his Dad as his inspiration, the knowledge and passion he had then has matured and exploded into a medley of fusion and sounds. It is his signature refusal to be restrained to one genre that keeps his mixes fresh and his followers hollering with surprise. Rhi Spect has played at many London venues including The Cause, Corsica Studios, Fire & Lightbox, Fabric, Jamm, Hootenanny, Venue MOT, Four Quarters and Planet Wax as well as playing at Boomtown, Balter Festival, Glastonbury, and Unity in the Sun. Parties she's played at include Das Booty, Here Come the Drumz, Hardcore Hangin', Distant Planet, Moondance, Raindance and AKO/Launch and on top of that she also runs the Devon’s Road Recordings party at Four Quarters in Peckham on the 1st Thursday of every other month. Devon’s Road Recordings has been shining a light on new producers making forward thinking jungle, hardcore, dnb and bass music and their releases and parties have gained recognition in the last few years through releasing music from Bomb Shelter Crew, Anti Traxx, Arkyn, Robin Wylie, E.Hill and Mathieson, Mindset and SUBbreak.
