Two collectives. Day to night. Outdoor to indoor.
NYC - London-based collective XOXA takes over the terrace for an afternoon canal-side dance party, bringing together a lineup rooted in New York's underground.
Joining them is DJ Shannon, whose sound is unmistakably influenced by her hometown NYC. After spending five-years in China and opening a club there, she's built a reputation through one of the most consistently celebrated shows on The Lot Radio and appearances at some of the world's most respected clubs and parties. Effortlessly weaving futuristic bass, NYC house, UKG and hip-hop, Shannon is known for her impeccable selections, razor-sharp mixing and infectious energy. One of NYC's finest taking it to Hackney Wick along the canal is not one to be missed.
Also on the terrace is Panooc, a DJ, producer and instrumentalist whose journey from jazz saxophonist to electronic artist has shaped a fearless, genre-defying sound. A fixture of New York's house and techno scene since 2011, they move fluidly through house, acid, electro and breaks, blending queer US club influences with the faster, rawer edges of UK dance music.
As the sun sets, The Blocks take over the taproom, carrying the energy into the night. Championing London's next wave of boundary-pushing queer DJs, the collective brings together artists pushing the cutting edge of club music.
Founder ftronic is joined by Queen Adelaide resident and trans~late founder DJ-CK. Fresh from supporting the likes of Spray, LSDXOXO and Moxie, expect a high-energy, euphoric journey through bouncy house, progressive and UKG.
