Kalimanda

Kalimanda, born and raised in Berlin, represents a fast, dark and uncompromising sound rooted in Peak Time Techno, Hypnotic Techno, Free Tekno and Tribe. With tempos ranging from 140 to 180 BPM, her sets are defined by powerful grooves, precise kicks and layered psychedelic textures, creating a hypnotic yet highly energetic dancefloor experience. Deeply influenced by Berlin’s underground club culture, Kalimanda approaches DJing as a form of storytelling. Her mixes build tension through harmonic transitions, driving rhythms and carefully structured progression, resulting in sets that feel both raw and immersive. The balance between physical intensity and hypnotic depth is central to her sound. Beyond the DJ booth, Kalimanda is host and booker of the event series Sssmile, closely connected to the Berlin scene and regularly taking place at Prisma Bar, the official afterhour location of Symbiotikka. Her active role in curation and club operations gives her a strong understanding of floor dynamics, programming and long-format energy development. Kalimanda has performed at events such as CAOS Collective – End of Summer Gathering in Berlin, Sssmile Afterhour of Symbiotikka at Prisma Bar, and internationally at Monday Madness on Koh Phangan, Thailand.
