About this event

D’Aunties invites you to reconnect with the roots of house music and remember that the dance floor is for dancing. Founded by Helina & Jada, D’Aunties is a new b2b project born from a shared love for house music in all its forms — from timeless classics to soulful, deep, and groove-driven sounds.

House music is for everyone, but its origins are Black, queer, and deeply rooted in dance culture. Inspired by the communities, sounds, and spaces that shaped the genre, Helina & Jada create sets centered around rhythm, movement, and connection. Beyond DJing, the two are also deeply connected through dance, bringing an intuitive and playful energy to the floor through freestyling, jamming, and shared musical exchange.

For their first club night at Phantom Bar, D’Aunties invited JAXX TMS — a Berlin-based DJ, broadcaster, and curator known for her emotionally driven sets and deep musical knowledge. Rooted in the raw energy of 90s House, Acid, and Deep House, JAXX TMS blends soulful grooves and influences from UK and US club culture into powerful dance floor journeys.

Together, D’Aunties and JAXX TMS come together for a night dedicated to groove, community, and the spirit of the dance floor — celebrating House music as a space for freedom, expression, and collective joy.

Lineup

JAXX TMS

Jaxx TMS moves through music with a deep-rooted understanding of rhythm, history and emotion. A Berlin-based DJ, broadcaster and curator, she exists at the intersection of dancefloor energy and sonic storytelling. In the club, Jaxx is drawn to the raw essence of House, Acid, and Deep House – blending deep grooves, rolling basslines and crisp percussions with the soulful energy of the 90s and the forward-thinking textures of today. Her sets carry the grit and euphoria of underground dance music, blending uplifting frequencies with influences from UK and US club culture. Each set is a carefully sculpted journey – designed for movement, release, and connection. Beyond the club, Jaxx’s musical spirit takes on a different form. As the founder of Inner City Expressions a project that seamlessly bridges music, culture and art and host of Expressions on Refuge Worldwide, she creates spaces dedicated to deep, intentional listening. Her selections flow through warm Jazz harmonies, weighty Dub basslines, ethereal Ambient textures and the rich storytelling of Soul and Breakbeat. Guided by her Caribbean, British and Spanish heritage, she designs experiences that are both intimate and transportive, where listeners are invited to sink into the layers of sound. Whether behind the booth or shaping immersive listening explorations, Jaxx TMS moves fluidly between worlds – honoring both the pulse of the club and the introspection of deep listening, always with an ear for the unexpected. Jaxx musical range allowed her to play at iconic venues such as The Jazz Cafe, Jumbi, Berghain,Tresor, OHM, Sacre and more.

JADA

Jada Moraes, known simply as JADA, bridges diverse sounds and cultures, drawing from her rich background as a freestyle dancer and cultural worker. From curating events and balls at festivals and clubs in her hometown of Hamburg to gaining international attention through her Boiler Room debut as a newcomer DJ, JADA is quickly emerging as a rising figure in the underground scene. Influenced by her Brazilian heritage, the multimedia artist’s sound is as vibrant and dynamic as the spaces she performs in. Her sets weave through pulsating global club rhythms, catchy grooves, electronic textures, percussive drums, baile, high-energy breaks, and unexpected bootlegs and edits. With each performance, JADA pushes the boundaries of contemporary club culture. Her bold selections and fluid blending skills create immersive, transformative moments that resonate far beyond the dance floor. Beyond the club, she extends her musical practice into more intimate soundscapes, curating slow-jam selections shaped by jazz, rap, and neo-soul influences. JADA’s DJ work spans club experiences, dance battles, ballroom events, radio shows, theater productions, and vinyl-only curation—reflecting a deeply rooted, versatile approach to sound and culture.
