On June 20th, CUSH returns!! this time to Het Dorp. CUSH is an intimate club night with warm, adventurous electronic music. House as the foundation, drifting into dubby detours, cosmic breaks, and techy rhythms. For curious souls who like their dancefloor cosy and their sounds a little sideways.
Come early and buy a Dine & CUSH ticket! Warung Pas, the Indonesian restaurant on site, will be serving a buffet-style meal before the music kicks in. Also vegetarian and vegan options available!

They're guided by instinct rather than genre as the Rotterdam-based DJ moves freely through decades and styles. From deep 70s jazz-funk cuts to dubbed-out house or raw Detroit techno, Charmaine always lets the music breathe and stories unfold naturally. Each set is a conversation between her, the space and the crowd at cult places like De School, Doka, North Sea Jazz Festival, Dekmantel Selectors or Gilles Peterson's Worldwide. She joins the dots between diverse scenes and sounds, always favouring what feels timeless. Having formerly worked with Rotterdam institutions Operator Radio and the Clone Records store, she’s long been embedded in the city's scene. Initially motivated by a desire to express what words can’t capture, Charmaine communicates emotions and stories beyond language to create a genuine musical dialogue between the DJ and dancers. Outside of the club, Charmaine has been a familiar voice on Radio Tempo Naõ Para, where her bi-monthly residency served as a window into her latest discoveries. Wherever she plays, DJing is not just about music; it’s about creating a space where everyone can escape the everyday but be present in the moment.
