About

A participatory workshop on the infrastructure of care in nightlife

Too often in club culture, care only enters the conversation as an emergency response when things go wrong, or as an individual recovery routine the day after. For Tag der Clubkultur, Overflow launches Club Care.

This participatory workshop turns that logic on its head to examine how care already underpins the music, the dance floor, and the spaces we build together.

Care isn't the opposite of high-intensity raving; it's what makes deep experimentation and long nights possible.

Building on our Rave Wellbeing research, we are moving past individualistic understanding of care trends toward real collective infrastructure. Bringing together ravers, artists, venue teams, and promoters, this session combines short impulses, embodied exercises, and physical mapping to co-create a first Club Care blueprint for Berlin nightlife.

What to expect:

Impulses & Mapping: Collaborative sessions mapping physical space, spatial design, sound, and community practices directly into a shared blueprint.

Somatic Practice: Guided movement and grounding moments led by ZE:NA and tamypro.

Sensory Rest & Metabolic Bar: A low-stimulus space designed for real downtime alongside functional metabolic nourishment.

About Overflow
Overflow is a Berlin collective exploring the intersection of rave culture, sensory design, embodiment, and collective care. Through spatial projects like Sensory Rave Spa, Somatic Rave, and Post-Rave Cocoon, we build environments for rest, movement, and genuine connection, working from within the scene to protect its freedom and energy.
