About this event

Since its founding four years ago, CHANGEOVER FESTIVAL, organized by Connected Agency, has been committed to constant development — across genres, audiences and different forms of cultural exploration. This year, the festival expands the format already familiar to its audience and explores new routes and possibilities beyond its home city.

After opening the festival season in Belgrade with the SWITCH showcase edition on 22–23 May, Changeover launched its own tour for the first time. Following the first stops in Niš and Sofia, the tour continues across Europe: the next stop is Prague on Friday, 3 July.

A regional showcase across two Prague venues

The Prague edition will take place across two venues — Subzero and Eternia Smichov — bringing together artists from the regional independent scene. The program moves through punk, noise, experimental electronics, leftfield pop and different forms of underground performance.

Performing:

Св. псета — one of the main alternative acts of the Belgrade underground scene. What characterizes them — and why they are so wanted — are extremely energetic and tense live shows, in which the band flirts with the audience in all its pompous wildness and unrestraint, emotionally draining yet therapeutically liberating at the same time.

Uličnedžukele — recently upgraded their setup as a three-piece, this instrumental art-punk band from Belgrade will stir you into unrest, then comfort you into finding inner peace.

Kйr — an alias of composer and curator Bane Jovančević, one of the key figures of the Serbian experimental electronic scene. His electroacoustic live sets combine drone and post-industrial layers with Balkan folk elements, creating a distinctive soundscape.

shoom — Dutch jazz-punk instrumental quartet, drawing influences from Black Midi to Charlie Parker into loud, bizarre, fever-dream action.

Pebble Seven — a solo ambient-pop project of Daša Bulíková, who recently released her debut album The Sheepsong Unlimited. Echoes of club beats, dreamy electronics, and carefully crafted vocals follow the endless horizons of electronic production and the places they can inhabit.

The tour continues in Berlin

After Prague, Changeover Tour continues in Berlin on Saturday, 4 July at Neue Zukunft, closing this part of the route with another edition focused on regional independent music and new points of connection.
