margins, where wandering and imagination become acts of survival and world-building. Set amongst nocturnal streets, abandoned spaces and improvised landscapes, they favour atmosphere over plot, using striking cinematography, sound and costume to build worlds. Melancholy, decadence and subtle humour coexist with moments of tenderness, connection and transformation. Balancing dystopian realities with visions of queer futurity, these works resist easy optimism while insisting on the possibility of other ways of living.
