Lithuania’s psych/noise outlaws Brokenchord are back in Berlin orbit on June 20th, with Berlin’s krautwave unit Luna Vega on board and ever-trippy DJ support by Melizards & Kira Krempova. - - - Originally a solo electronic project, BROKENCHORD has evolved into a full band whose sound fuses krautrock repetition, swirling electronics, and distorted guitars, moving freely between hypnotic rhythms and explosive walls of sound. Their latest release evokes desert hallucination scenes, scored by malfunctioning radios and interstellar frequencies — a cinematic trip built for deep listening and immersive live shows. - LUNA VEGA's first studio efforts involved just a preset drum machine accompanied by an old Vermona organ, often nodding to the 70s proto-electronic pioneers. Since then, the project has evolved into a three-piece live band driven by repetitive drum machine patterns, multi-layered organs, wonky synthesisers, and 90's psychedelic revival guitars.
