Their first meeting at Frankfurt's U60311 in 2001, Liebing mixing out of a Speedy J live set, Paap responding in real time from the decks, became part of Frankfurt clubbing folklore. A session at Paap's Rotterdam studio followed, yielding "Collabs 300" on Novamute (2004) and eventually "Collabs 3000 (Metalism)“, a long player on Novamute. Revived in 2024, the project continues and we’re delighted to welcome the collaboration of the two influential figues to Blitz in June.
