Lawrence, Peter Kersten, Hamburg-based and label head of Dial Records, has been a steadfast presence in underground house and techno since the early 2000s. His productions move between house, minimalist club music, and slow, atmospheric pieces: Music For Plants stretched to an hour; the fourth part of The City of Tomorrow continues his exploration of miniatures and ambient works; and his latest, Poppies on Smallville, ventures toward unhurried deep house. Dial, the label he co-founded, has operated for over two decades on the same terms: "Something that stayed with us throughout the whole time was to keep focussing on music and not get too involved in the business side." His records & mixes follow suit.
Molly has been part of Paris's Rex Club since 2006, first as communications manager before picking up a residency and launching her own imprint, RDV (Récit de Voyage), in 2017. On record she has released on labels including Giegling, Yoyaku, and Dial and in the mix she moves between house and techno with a sensitive precision. Rounding out the night is local DJoy, a steady presence across Munich's clubs and at home in the eclectic spectrum of house music.

He also releases more techno-oriented under the name Sten. Lawrence also has two other lesser known projects, Lloyd (abstract hip hop) and an ambient guitar project called Bordeaux. As Lawrence, Kersten has released three deep and melacholic longplayers. First turned onto techno by the original wave of acid house, by 1997 Kersten began producing his own music. "The different projects stand somehow close to another," he says. "Sten is the more minimal and straight part of me, strictly influenced by the part of my life on the dancefloor.” However, Lawrence is the project which has been catching the most attention. The first eponymous 'Lawrence' album (Ladomat, 2002) was a mixture of house, minimal techno and experimental pieces, while the second one, 'The Absence of Blight' (Dial, 2003) had a straighter touch. Latest album is the 'The Night Will Last Forever' (Novamute, 2005). Lawrence also DJs, with a residency at The Golden Pudel or Click in Hamburg. He has also remixed the likes of Martin Gore, Goldfrapp, Turner and Superpitcher.
