Das Vokalprojekt meets Berlin-based composer, performer and modular synthesist Richard Scott for a one-night concert experience at Musikbrauerei.
Under the direction of Johannes David Wolff, a cappella choral works by Parry, Whitacre, McDowall, Beach and Scott collide, overlap and merge with Richard Scott’s electronic soundworlds.
Voices, modular synthesis, tradition and experiment come together inside one of Berlin’s most atmospheric venues.

///////////////// DAS VOKALPROJEKT is a Berlin-based vocal ensemble founded in 2013, bringing together around 25 young singers from across Germany with backgrounds in choral singing, vocal training, instrumental study and music degrees.
Known for its refined ensemble sound, precise intonation and carefully shaped interpretations, the group develops ambitious project-based programmes ranging from early music to contemporary works and cross-disciplinary collaborations. Past highlights include collaborations with Bayerischer Rundfunk and the Bayerische Kammerphilharmonie, as well as a performance at the Kammermusiksaal of the Berlin Philharmonie.
///////////////// RICHARD SCOTT is an electroacoustic composer and improviser focused on modular synthesis, collaborators include Axel Dörner, Thomas Lehn, Ute Wassermann, David Sylvian, Sidsel Endresen, Audrey Chen and Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin.
His work has been featured on KONTAKTE Biennale für Elektroakustische Musik und Klangkunst, International Computer Music Conference and Moers Festival. Albums with Evan Parker, many solo albums, including Several Circles (cusp editions) and collaborations. He has initiated two editions of the Sines & Squares festival at Manchester University focused on modular and analogue synthesis, and curated several concert series in Berlin. His two Ph. D.s include one focused on Improvised Music from
the University of London, 1992, and the second a Portfolio of Electroacoustic Compositions, rrom the University of Manchester, 2020. Richard currently leads a Master’s degree in Creative Production (Music) at Catalyst Institute, Berlin.
