An evening dedicated to practices on the edge of sound, matter and performance. Three distinct propositions, connected by attention to process and the physicality of the medium.
Corazón de Robota (CL/DE) – work-in-progress showing. A Chilean sound artist based in Berlin, active in the underground experimental scene since 2010. She works exclusively with DIY synthesizers built by herself inside chocolate boxes. Her fully analog setup – sequencers, filters, distortions, circuit-bent drum machines, antennas, electromagnetic field amplifiers and experimental radios – forms a non-standard modular system. Through improvisation, feedback, random patterns and dissonant textures, she leads the audience through the rhythmic dimensions of noise. Her instruments embody technofeminist philosophy, electronic anarchy and open-source hardware in practice.
Artur Rumiński (PL) – solo concert. Guitarist known for his work with Furia, Arrm, Thaw and Gruzja. On his solo albums (Pocztówki, COSMOS) he treats the guitar as a noise generator, coaxing out alien tones and pairing them with field recordings and dense distortions – moving between ambient, noise, avant-garde minimalism, black metal and post-rock. A sonic landscape terraformed by a wide-ranging musical practice.
Wojtek Kurek & Olga Balińska (PL) – performance with live music. A duo working at the intersection of sound, movement and object. Their references include Asian scenic forms, '80s subcultures, contemporary electroacoustic music and free improvisation. In their current piece, paper is the material – brushed, lifted, crumpled, pierced. Every sonic gesture has a visual consequence: sound equals a bend, more bends mean less sound. The paper becomes a third performer.
