About

a.sense celebrates its first anniversary on October 10 with its largest event to date, taking over Kummelholmen, a former heating plant in southern Stockholm, for a 12-hour marathon of electronic music and art.

The former heating facility in Vårberg, characterized by its monumental concrete architecture, was designed by architect Ingmar Benckert and decommissioned in 1997. Since 2015, it has been used for exhibitions of contemporary art, but has rarely been explored as a setting for electronic music and club culture. From 12:00 to 00:00, ambient electronics, abstract grooves, experimental and leftfield techno will be complemented by photography, textile and digital art exhibited across the building.

Beyond the main dancefloor, our signature chill-out room returns as a quieter space to rest and reset throughout the day. Food and a selection of alcohol-free refreshments will also be available on site.
