8MM & Shameless/Limitless present: terraplana

Terraplana has established itself as one of the leading names in Brazil’s new alternative scene. Following the release of their acclaimed albums Olhar Pra Trás (2023) and Natural (2025), both via Balaclava Records, the band has expanded its reach both nationally and internationally, performing at major festivals such as Primavera Sound São Paulo and SXSW in the United States.

In 2026, Terraplana is set to appear at festivals including Lollapalooza Brazil, Slide Away (US), and Vodafone Paredes de Coura (Portugal), as part of an extensive tour across Brazil, the United States, and Europe. Their sound blends shoegaze and ’90s indie rock with Portuguese lyrics and Brazilian music influences, featuring layered guitars, delicate melodies, and soft vocals that contrast to create a dense yet ethereal atmosphere.
