About this event
Four years ago, House of Others began as a radio series and a small but intentional space to celebrate house music, queer community, and underground culture. Since then, it has grown into a platform for connection, discovery, and collective movement, shaped by every artist, dancer, listener, and friend who has crossed paths with us along the way. This night is a celebration of that journey.
For this special anniversary edition, we gather for an extended night of music with residents Sky Deep and materia hache, alongside two guest DJs whose love and understanding of house music deeply resonate with the spirit of House of Others. This is a night dedicated to the many histories, textures, and possible futures of house music.
QUALIA TRAX approaches house as a living cultural archive rooted in the legacy of Black and queer communities. Their sets move fluidly across genres, cities, and decades blending eclectic sounds with playful, harmonious mixing techniques. With a deep respect for the communities that shaped the culture, Qualia Trax reminds us that house music is both celebration and preservation: something to protect, nurture, and carry forward together.
BALTZA brings a deeply personal and groove-driven journey through the evolution of house music. Moving between soulful house, dusty garage, electro, minimal, deep house, and resurfaced 90s rave sounds, their sets reflect years of devotion to the dancefloor and its transformative energy. Rooted in warmth, rhythm, and movement, Baltza’s sound honors both the old-school spirit of house and the ever-evolving directions it continues to take.
To everyone who has danced with us, listened to the mixes, shared the space, played the music, supported the project, or simply believed in what we do: thank you.
House of Others exists because of community See you into the groove

Lineup
Baltza
Crafting dance floor moments of energizing aura, joy and togetherness, Baltza's sound lays with propulsive basslines, rolling and punchy kicks, proggy textures, heartfelt vocal samples, and an abundance of cheeky hi-hats. With a deep appreciation for the early club culture, 90s rave nostalgia, and all things soulful, their sets predominantly delve into groovy house, with dips into breaks, electro, trance, UK garage, hard groove, and playful, percussive soundscapes. The result? A journey that's uplifting, irresistibly fun, sassy, and at times, tinged with melancholy. Baltza's a proud daddy of newly emerged queer, trans collective BASH IS BACK. Also! They host "Groove Call" - a monthly radio show on Radio Panini, showcasing their signature sound, and bringing a spotlight to their favourite emerging artists.
Qualia Trax
Rooted in the belief of the dancefloor as a space of infinite unique individual experiences, Qualia Trax embodies a playful genre-fluid approach to both DJing and curation. A long-time contributor to queer party scenes in Birmingham, London, Amsterdam and Berlin, Qualia Trax is founder, resident and booker for NEST, a queer, sex-positive party series and community in Berlin. This project seeks to 'queer-up' traditionally normative spaces and rituals to make them more accessible and enjoyable for marginalised groups, currently taking place at Kater Blau. They previously founded the VisionsKollektiv (fka Visionskultur), the highlight of which was the organisation and curation of the art and music programme for Kiek Beyond, a 3-day festival just outside Berlin in August 2023, and continue to support as a resident DJ and booker.
Sky Deep
Sky Deep is a Berlin-based DJ rooted in House, known for groove-driven sets that prioritize rhythm, tension, and movement over trend cycles. Blending funk, bass, and techno influences as the room demands, she builds deliberate, long-form arcs designed for bodies first — shaping energy with control while keeping the dancefloor fully engaged.
materia hache
They define themselves as a House DJ, understanding the genre as something dynamic and fluid. Their sound mixes old-school and new-school from 120bpm up to 140bpm, constantly trying to capture the heartbeat of the dancefloor. You will dance to a range from jackin' techno to Underground House, from the deepest to the most uplifting beats, always in search of the groove and dance. They understand the DJ Booth/Dancefloor relationship as elements that communicate and travel together, both part of the same thing. Nobody is more than anybody on the dancefloor. Through their DJ sets they fight in order to create a dancefloor that deserves to be danced, giving visibility and voice to the FLINTA&POC community. Through and with their collective OTTF they have connected with other collectives always seeking alliances & collective awareness in the queer/rave nightclub scene.
