3 YEARS OF BURRE

Burre is a collective of Ukrainian artists and promoters, dedicated to developing experimental, non-commercial music and live artists operating in the Berlin scene. Burre stays strongly committed to promoting unapologetic, radical authenticity, something Berlin used to represent.

This year we celebrate 3 years of our journey in independent scene of Berlin with a one-day festival in beloved place in Wedding - Panke. We share this evening with a great gratitude to those, who became a part of our community.

We are so excited to share our line-up, that combines wide rage of niches of electronic music, performance art and as always offers our subjective alternative to what Berlin`s nightlife has to offer.

MYKOLA LEBED

MARKOSHMARKO

markoshmarko is an artist known for the Apollonian approach to her DJ-sets. layering different genres together she builds a complex narrative canvas, which invites the audience not only to a bodily response, but also to a mental exercise.

MAX SVITLO

Max Svitlo is an artist from Zvenyhorodka, Cherkasy region (Ukraine), working at the intersection of cinema, theater, and performance. In his musical practice, he uses “ritual” as an integral part of the process. Combining experimental music, voice, and field recordings, he immerses audiences in living sonic environments through improvisation, where the performance unfolds as a collective ritual experience.

He released his first album in 2023, titled *Dereva Moi Rakety* (“Trees Are My Rockets”), on the ShShTs label. He is rarely seen performing live, but whenever it happens, his performances are filled with a distinctive sacred atmosphere.

SERAFYMA BRIG

Performer artist and activist working with topics of memory, grief and comemoration through audiovisual and body practices.

FUKENSEI

Fukinsei is a Sicilian DJ, music curator, label manager, writer and independent researcher obsessed by deep, broken, obscure and complex sounds and based in Berlin. Growing up amidst Sicilian sound systems and the Italian noise/free party scene, and starting to spin her records during hip-hop open mics in Rome, she marks her sound as a path between light and shadow, where each style intersects with irregular flows, creating a harmonious yet asymmetrical narrative. The footwork, jungle and noisy veins from which she draws inspiration talk to a sound system culture that plays on a different terrain.

SORAYA

Kuala Lumpur born, Berlin based, Soraya is a vocalist and DJ whose sound carries a distinct heaviness: gritty, raw, and built on pressure. Rooted in UK sound system culture, their high-impact sets adapt to any dance floor by staying irresistibly bouncy.

ZULI

Ahmed El Ghazoly aka ZULI, is a musician, producer, and sound artist from Cairo, Egypt. Internationally, ZULI is best known for his releases on Lee Gamble’s UIQ – which included a string of EPs as well as his debut LP Terminal, an album that highlighted the depth in his productions, as he simultaneously combines experimentations in rap/hip-hop with music for listening as well as the dancefloor. The Italian Haunter Records also saw the release of the infamous Trigger Finger EP which went on to be remixed by the likes of TSVI, AYA, Acre and more. ZULI’s music garners support all over the board ranging from the likes of Aphex Twin and Autechre, to Ben UFO and Bradley Zero, even Richie Hawtin through its wide ranging sound.

CLUSTER LIZARD

Cluster Lizard – an interdisciplinary mixed media project by two Ukrainian artists Dmytro Fedorenko and Kateryna Zavoloka, based in Berlin. Cluster Lizard uses experimental electronic music as its main element, integrated with analogue and generative video, photography, abstract paintings, and computer graphics. Conceptual inspiration for Cluster Lizard was driven mainly by futuristic ideas of some prominent science fiction writers, experimental and radical sci-fi movies, abstract painters, futuristic techno-activists, and many other great artists, who offered their view of the future, far and near, social and esoteric, technical and spiritual.

xPOLLYx FEAT. KULYENCHIKEV

xPOLLYX is an artist who has always sought to incorporate a sense of exclusion and alienation from imposed society into his music. The essence of his concept and style lies in the lack of representation in what the world offers today. His goal is to create a shared sense of belonging through extreme sounds that reflect his vision and identity in defiance of an imposed system: distortion, spontaneity, and rejection of institutions.

Kulyenchikev is a vocalist and rapper who, through slogans and fragmented imagery, expresses the decadence of Italian mass media culture, blending distorted lo-fi sounds with influences from Memphis Rap and Punk Music

BUNGALOVV

Bungalovv is the electronic music project of Pablo Betas, a Buenos Aires-born artist based in Berlin since 2019. His sound fuses Latin American rhythms, wild percussions, sharp trance synths and intricate club structures, shaping a distinctive and experimental sonic world where robotic, nocturnal, and mechanical fauna coexist. His latest work 'Homecoming' will be part of Yegorka catalog on April 17th, featuring talented artists from the Berlin scene as Dis Fig, Lauren Maria, Cru and Iris Forest.

STAALPLAAT

Staalplaat is an independent record label that is located in Amsterdam and recently opened up a separate store in Berlin. Created in 1982, the company's mission was created as a sound forum for sound artists, who write and perform new and experimental music. The organization stands for finding "rough diamonds" and experimenting to the highest degree with sounds of all types. By doing this, the company abandons conventional standards of success in terms of sales and following the latest trends.
