JayKosy

Steven Traue, known as JayKosy, was born in Berlin in 1983 and began his DJ career in 2000. In his early years, he played at renowned Berlin clubs such as Tresor, Watergate, and Icon, as well as at numerous venues across Germany. In 2006, he founded the music project Twisted Metaforce together with his partner Toxy. Their unique style blended breakbeat and electro, and in 2010, they released their first record »Mindfunk« on Dirty Funk Records. Their live performances quickly gained attention in the scene. A year later, in 2007, JayKosy launched his own event series, Wicked Tunes, in Berlin. He regularly hosts open-air events, boat parties, club nights and demonstrations such as Rave the Planet. Over the years, he has welcomed renowned artists like Leeroy Thornhill, Marten Hørger, Lady Waks, Moguai or WestBam, just to name a few. Wicked Tunes has also become a recurring part of Berlin’s Carnival of Cultures, a multicultural street festival attended by over a million people. Since 2008, JayKosy has been a member of the legendary Bass Planet crew, hosted by none other than WestBam. This has taken him on tours across Russia, Spain, Poland and Germany. Over the years, he built a strong network of connections with club owners and artists. In 2015, he expanded his career by working as a booking agent, curating high-quality line-ups for events and festivals.
