About this event

The Kitchen is back behind the burners for another full service. On June 26th, we’re taking over the entire soap factory, spanning the darkened concrete of Ankali, Planeta Za, and Pluto along with two international headliners.

We’ve curated a three-course spread for the open-minded heads of Prague. Whether you’re here for a deep-tissue techno workout or a spicy latin club experiment, the Kitchen is prepped and the heat is on.

The Menu Ankali: Techno. Raw and driving. The heavy machinery of the night, simmering at a constant rolling boil.

Planeta Za: Latin-core & Club. High-velocity seasoning with global rhythms and percussive weight. Expect maximum heat and a lot of remixes.

Pluto Stage: Listening room. A palate cleanser for the soul. Drift through ethereal soundscapes before finding your groove under the cosmic disco ball.

Full line up and poster TBA. Get your early bird tickets before full details drop.

Please respect other patrons and their personal space. Consent is always essential. Any kind of discrimination or unruly behavior will not be tolerated. Incase of emergencies, please contact the bar staff or security immediately. No flash photography is allowed on the dance floor. For details on safety and awareness please visit Ankali's website to see their house rules.

Pooja B

Pooja B (she/her) is an Indian artist who is now based in Berlin. Her sound was heavily influenced by the music she heard here when she first visited the city back in 2016. Her idea of techno is a skittish exploration of time and space in this dystopian world. While futuristic, loopy, industrial sounds for dark clubs are her signature style, she can skillfully adapt to play music for outdoor spaces which still have a sprinkling of her special flavor. Last year, she curated the 'We The People' Covid Relief Fundraiser Compilation which received a lot of support and acclaim from all over the world. This was a special effort to gather artists of Indian heritage to come together to raise funds for covid relief work in India while they live far away from loved ones. Now DJing for over 14 years, she has played several festivals and clubs in Europe (Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Spain), Asia (Bali, China, India, Japan, Sri Lanka), South America (Chile), and the Middle East (Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Dubai). Her most recent noteworthy appearances were at About Blank, Sisyphos, Renate, Suicide Club, Mensch Meier in Berlin & for Bronx Sauna, a queer rave in Stockholm. She co-founded The EQ Way collective in India and curated 'The EQ Way' radio show on Flux Music (Berlin), which provided a platform for female-identifying & queer artists to showcase their music to a wider audience. She hosts a bi-weekly radio show called "ikigai" on India’s primary community radio, Boxout.fm which is a journey diving into realms of dark industrial techno. She has been a resident at Analog Room a weekly underground party with a cult following in Dubai, where she was based because of her flight-attendant job. She also held residencies at Warped & Electric Days prior to that, also in Dubai. Pooja B released her music under the alias “ikigai”. Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means "a reason for being". Her reason for being is to make people dance :) In a short time, she has had releases on Sonata Music, Underdub Records, Fabrik Music, SMR Underground, Fehlr Musik, 22.2, and has had 3 Bandcamp self-releases. She also takes a firm stand against racism, sexism & environmental issues, which she expresses via her music.

VISNEACS

VISNEACS is a multi-genre and Global Sounds artist, born in Mexico and currently based in Prague. Ari (aka VISNEACS) has carved out a singular sonic identity where electronic music becomes a space for encounter, expression, and collective ritual. Grounded in their Latin roots, VISNEACS creates a fusion between the rhythmic soul of the Global South and the deep, driving pulse of the European underground, where they emerged from. Their sets are an exploration of fluidity, weaving a tapestry between percussive blends and deep, hypnotic rituals. Moving through a spectrum of experimental club, breaks, tribal techno and an organic ethnic flow, they bridge from downtempo to primal layers of the booty-shaking sounds of gqom, amapiano, underground reggaeton, guaracha, electro-cumbia, baile funk, and global bass. It is a sound without borders, defined by "puro sabroseo, cachondeo y apapacho al alma" a signature warmth and intensity designed to keep the body calientitx and the spirit fed. Seeking coherence in the chaos, they turn sound, emotion, and awareness into spaces of unlearning and playful liberation. Ari is the co-founder of PXSSYCRACK, an immigrant artivist collective in Czechia for multidisciplinary community building. Their trajectory is marked by collaborations with global artists like KVKN (El Semillero/ Ecuador) and Iris Leidenschaft (Nyxxia Movement/ Colombia), alongside appearances in the local scene with projects like The Forum Studios, Kitchen.coll, Plsuko, Gatherings, etc. Ari is also a member of the Mexico City-based label Taco Records, further bridging their connection to the vibrant scene of her home city. From known venues like Ankali (Prague) and Wax (Bratislava) to fostering community-driven events, they continue to move between worlds, energies, and tempos. Feeding the sound that feeds us all. All an interconnected moving energy.
